We are a proud sponsor!

We’re proud to recognize the National Association for Child & Youth Care Professionals (NAC*CP) as a sponsor of the 2026 World Child & Youth Care Conference.

NAC*CP is a professional membership organization dedicated to advancing the field of Child & Youth Care. Through certification, advocacy, professional development, and community building, NAC*CP supports individuals who work with children, youth, and families across a wide range of settings, including schools, residential care, out-of-school time programs, and community-based services.

Guided by a vision of a world where all children, youth, and families are supported by highly skilled, compassionate, and professionally recognized Child & Youth Care practitioners, NAC*CP works to promote professional standards, support workforce development, advocate for recognition of the field, and create pathways for growth, learning, and leadership.

By connecting practitioners, organizations, and leaders through shared knowledge and collaboration, NAC*CP continues to strengthen the Child & Youth Care profession and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.

We are grateful for their support in helping bring this global gathering to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

If you want a slightly more energetic version:

Educators are child and youth care workers, too! They understand developmental stages, serve as mandated reporters, are often CPR certified, and interact with youth every day making a powerful and positive impact on the young people they support.

In March, youth practitioners from across Indiana, along with professionals from IU Bloomington, came together to learn about youth trafficking and exploitation and to better understand their role as youth workers in prevention efforts. Dr. Deb shared valuable resources and statistics that were both informative and impactful. She encouraged youth practitioners to be agents of change and to take meaningful steps forward, reminding everyone that by working together, we can help prevent harm to young people.
