Reminder that the Waupun Hoopsters Board Meeting is tonight, Wednesday, June 3, at 6:00 PM in the Waupun Jr./Sr. High School.

This is an important meeting as we will be:
✅ Voting on coaches for the upcoming season
✅ Discussing and filling open board positions

All coaching applicants MUST be present tonight for coach selection.

We are also seeking volunteers for the following open board positions:
• President
• Concessions
• K–2 Coordinator
• Jersey/Awards Coordinator

In addition, the 3rd and 7th Grade Girls Coaching positions are currently open.

If you're interested in helping support youth basketball in our community, please join us tonight. We encourage anyone interested in an open board position or coaching opportunity to attend!

Updated times and new flexible session options have been added! This is a great opportunity for girls and boys grades 3–11 to build basketball skills this summer with Dan & Mason Domask.

2026 Summer Skills Training is back with updated session times and additional flexible scheduling opportunities!

Former head coach and current skills trainer Dan Domask is excited to bring his (and his son Mason’s) experience, knowledge, and passion for the game to players in the Waupun and surrounding communities this summer!

Training sessions will focus on the development of fundamental basketball skills including:
✔️ Shooting
✔️ Ball-handling
✔️ Finishing
✔️ Footwork & fakes

👥 WHO:
Girls & Boys entering grades 3–11 (based on last year’s grade level)

📅 TWO SESSION OPTIONS:

Option 1 — 4 Days Per Week
Monday–Thursday mornings
June 8 – July 2

• 8:00 AM — Grades 7–11
• 9:00 AM — Grades 3–6

Option 2 — 2 Days Per Week
Choose either:
• Mondays & Wednesdays
OR
• Tuesdays & Thursdays

• 10:00 AM — All grade levels

2026 Summer Skills Training

What- Former head coach and current skills trainer- Dan Domask is excited to bring his (and his son Mason’s) experience, knowledge and passion of the game to players in the Waupun and surrounding communities. This opportunity will be sequential development of fundamental skills in the areas of shooting, ball-handling, finishing and footwork/fakes.

Who- Girls and Boys from grades 3-11 (based on last year’s levels). Group organization is:
7:00 Grades 9-11
8:00 Grades 7-8
9:00 Grades 5-6
10:00 Grades 3-4
*The possibility of “moving up” exists for advanced players. I may ask players to move up/down for their sake and the sake of balancing camp numbers.

When- Monday through Thursday mornings, starting June 8th and ending July 2nd. 16 days.
*FYI- Missing a day or two isn’t a deal-breaker! It’s summer, I know other things arise!

Where- Central Wisconsin Christian High School

What to bring- Every player should have their own water bottle, clearly labeled basketball, basketball shoes and athletic clothing.

Fee and Forms:
Insurance- All players must turn in the Waiver Form (2026) prior to participation. Please show up a little early to turn in the waiver form and make payment (if still needed).

Hoopsters Families: Dan Domask is offering clinics to allow youth players to grow their game by participating in guided live 3 on 3 play. There will be some brief instruction in “team strategies”, and there will be ongoing discussions throughout the night in the form of “teachable moments” and between-game dialogue.

Dates and Times: Range from April 27 to May 21st. 3:30 or 4:30 start time (one hour sessions). Twice a week per age level. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Participants will be notified of their exact session group dates and times after registration information is acquired. *It's not a deal breaker if your player has to leave a bit early, or misses a date!

Location: Mostly RRIS (and JR/SR High when needed)

Cost: $40 (includes all 8 sessions) Payable to Waupun Hoopsters. Registration deadline is 4/21/26. Please fill out this form to reserve your spot.

Hoopsters need your help!

Hoopsters is currently looking to fill a few open board positions: President, Concessions Coordinator, and Uniforms/Awards Coordinator.

All board members help oversee tournaments, league play, and attend meetings once a month.

•President: Leads meetings, serves as the main point of contact, manages equipment, and handles questions or concerns.

•Concessions Coordinator: Oversees concessions for games/tournaments, including setup, inventory, and operations.

•Uniforms/Awards Coordinator: Manages jerseys and tournament awards, including ordering and organization.

Hoopster Herd Night was a success! It was a fun night for our athletes and their families and a great experience all around!

Waupun 7th Grade Girls Hoopsters finished 4th at the State Tournament.

They lost in the semifinals by 3 points and beat three Division 1 teams along the way. Great year! 🏀
