We are getting close to our September Bear hunts in Wisconsin and we at Wounded Warriors In Action are still in need of 2 more Zone A Bear Tags. If any of my Wisconsin Friends know anyone who cannot use their tag and would like to donate it, please have them reach out to me at [email protected].

📢 We need your help! We are requesting Wisconsin bear tag donations for upcoming WWIA events specifically for "Zone A" for the 2026 season. If you were awarded a "Zone A" bear tag for 2026 and are unable to use it or would like to donate one to help support our Purple Heart Heroes, we would greatly appreciate it!

These donated bear tags will go toward the following WWIA events: 2026 7th Annual Wisconsin Heroes Northland Black Bear Hunt in Iron River, Wisconsin and the 2026 8th Annual Camp Hackett Black Bear Hunt in Phillips, Wisconsin. This is a great way to give back to our Heroes and help us prepare for these events later this year. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration and for your tremendous support of WWIA and our combat-wounded Veterans. 💜

Hides for Heroes attended the annual Waupaca County K9 Golf Outing this weekend and was honored to present a donation check for $1,000.

H4H is proud to support and give back to our law enforcement community and the dedicated K9 teams who serve and protect every day.

A lovely day highlighted the participation of some Hides for Heroes board members in the annual Waupaca County K9 fundraiser, with Vice President Scott Bailey's, not pictured, team emerging victorious and generously donating their winnings back to the organization.

Hides for Heroes had the honor of helping one of our local communities. Our treasurer Wayne Kelly presented a check for $2,500 to Shiocton police and fire department to help repair their communication equipment. Pictured left to right is Omar, Wayne, and Sara (Chief of Police). Thank you to all emergency response teams for all your efforts during the tragic flooding!

Good morning, it just came to our attention that a bear tag was donated for Zone B. And they want it to go to a Purple Heart recipient. So if there is any groups in Zone B that take veterans out please contact Hides For Heroes.
