At our first membership meeting of the new Lion Year we celebrated with a cookout and the induction of a new member of our club.

We are so happy to welcome Lion Robert Paul Asselin. He was inducted by his Sponsor Lion Jill Talbot Huard and was quickly embraced by our small group of Lions. We wasted no time putting him to work on the grill!! Lion Bob is a Past President of a number of Lions Clubs in New Hampshire and we are thankful for his experience in service. Welcome Lion Bob!!

The Waterville Lions Club celebrated its year-end gathering at the residence of Lion Jill and Dan, where we kicked off with a barbecue in the backyard. Fortunately, the rain held off long enough for us to enjoy our meal. King Lion Craig Shores presented the awards, recognizing outstanding contributions that inspire us all. The Rookie of the Year award was bestowed upon Lions Amber Worthley and Drew Cherkis, partners in life, in recognition of their infectious enthusiasm and dedication as new members. We are thrilled to have them on our team. Lion Teresa Rael received the Lion of the Year award for her unwavering dedication and commitment to our club, serving as treasurer and LCIF coordinator, and we are grateful for her remarkable contributions!

As we end our Lion year, we are thankful to be able to serve our community and build lasting friendships through our commitment to service.

Our Annual Food Drive was a success! Cash and food donations were dropped off at the Waterville Food Pantry to help our community!
