Some of our maintenance crew took to the lift today in order to repaint the Franklin St. side of the Franklin Building.

We didn't ask how the weather was up there.

On Wednesday, October 28th there will be a FREE lead testing event at

Jefferson County Public Health
532 Meade St, Watertown

Bring small household items to be tested for lead such as toys, antiques, jewelry, dishware, pottery/ceramics.

Education materials will be available on topics such as lead-safe cleaning, healthy nutrition, and renovations in older homes. The first 20 participants will receive a bag of wet cleaning supplies to help reduce lead exposure in the home.

🌸 Mum's the word...Or maybe not. 🌸

It's no secret that if you're driving around Public Square this Fall you will see mums planted in all of the downtown city planters. Those are there thanks to this crew!

As we made room for the mums, it was amazing to see how well our summer plants and flowers held up! We kept as many as we could and got rid of anything that wouldn't last long in colder weather.

What a beautiful, sunny, and crisp Friday to be outside. Have a wonderful weekend!
