October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

At Freedom Flannels, freedom has always been at the heart of what we do.

While our mission has focused on supporting the fight against human trafficking, we also recognize that abuse, exploitation, domestic violence, and trafficking can intersect. Every person deserves to live free from fear, violence, control, and exploitation.

This month, as we wear purple in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Freedom Flannels.

Every flannel purchased, post shared, donation given, booth visited, and conversation started has helped us continue giving back to organizations doing the real work in the field — supporting survivors, raising awareness, providing resources, and fighting for freedom.

We also want to give another huge shoutout to Daylight United and Remedy Drive for the incredible work they continue to do in the human trafficking space. We are so grateful for organizations willing to step into difficult places and advocate for dignity, hope, healing, and freedom.

A flannel may seem like a small thing, but when a community comes together around a purpose, those small things can create a much bigger impact.
