My name is Alistair Begg, and it’s my privilege to pray today for the state of Ohio. Let us pray.

Our gracious God, we thank You for the privilege of coming to You today. We thank You that our state is the only one that has the motto taken directly from Your Word, declaring, “With God, All Things Are Possible.”

Yours, O Lord, is the majesty, the power, the glory, and the dominion, because all things come from You.

Please forgive us for having big thoughts about ourselves and small thoughts of You, and grant that as we look around our state today, those in our courts may be granted wisdom to govern with impartiality. That our schools may teach according to Your Word. That our politicians may be humble before You and look to You for everything.

Remind us that our lives are brief, and help us to hear the invitation of Jesus to come to Him, bow to Him, learn from Him, and find rest in Him, and in Him alone.

And in that Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Hello there, friends. My name is Carey Green. I’m a pastor serving the church in the great state of North Dakota. I’m inviting you to pray with me for our nation, for our nation’s leaders, and for a sense of revival to sweep across our land. Let’s pray.

Our Lord and our God, we are grateful for the opportunity and the privilege to come to You in prayer. It is our honor to call upon Your Name, Jesus. It’s our honor to lift You high through the act of prayer, knowing that You are the only one who could do anything to help us in these areas of need. Lord Jesus, You know the situation here in the United States. You know the hardship we’re in, the division that we’re facing, all of the problems that are befalling our society.

We ask You to bring a spirit of conviction from Your Holy Spirit, to bring about repentance, to bring about a change in our hearts that will bring about a blessing, and a type of restoration that can only come from You. Lord God, would You work in the hearts of our leaders to bring about wisdom, to bring about conviction in their hearts, to only pass legislation that is honoring to You and good for the people?

Lord God, we pray that You would unravel the mess that we’ve gotten ourselves into, that You would cause Your Name to be glorified and Your people to shine like the brightness of the sun so that others can see and come and find healing in You. Lord Jesus, make us a nation that is a light on a hill, a testimony of what can happen when a people will humble themselves and pray and seek Your face. You will come and You will hear from Heaven, and You will heal our land.

Lord God, make us a humble people, make us a willing people, and give us the eagerness to live according to righteousness. We ask these things in Jesus’ Name, amen. Friends, thank you. God bless.

I’m John Munro, and I’m a pastor in Charlotte, North Carolina. I ask that you bow with me in prayer.

Eternal God and our Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we come with profound thankfulness for this 250th anniversary of our great nation. How You have blessed us. And yet, in spite of Your blessings, we have committed two evils.

We have turned from You, the living and the true God, and have pursued false gods of our own making. I ask that in North Carolina and in our great land, that our leaders, our judges, our corporations, our media, and our law enforcement will be just and fair and compassionate. May justice roll down like waters, and Your righteousness an ever-flowing stream.

Father, we pray for this state of North Carolina—how we need the Gospel—and I pray that many will repent of their sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life. And I pray that the Gospel, which is Your power unto salvation, will reverberate through North Carolina, that many will trust the Savior.

Forgive us, Father, for our cultural Christianity. May we be authentic disciples. May we be light illuminating the darkness and salt permeating the corruption.

Have mercy upon us, Father. Be gracious to us—not because we deserve it, but because You are a gracious and merciful God.

And we ask all of this in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Hello, this is Pastor Jim Cymbala from The Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York City, and I’d love if you could join me in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we ask for extra grace for our country, especially along the lines, Lord, of racial tension being eased and the healing of all the toxic atmosphere that we have around us. We all come from the same Creator, and, God, help people to accept one another and not be prejudiced. We ask for an end to racism in any and every heart.

But God, You said that we are the light of the world, the church. We are the salt of the earth, and if the light is covered or the salt loses its flavor, what good is it? So we especially pray that Your people, the church of Jesus Christ, the holy nation that You’ve made us, that, God, we would lead the way in loving people of every background, every color, every ethnicity.

We know, God, that in Heaven, You said every nation, every tribe, and every tongue will be there. We pray that our churches will represent that, that the doors will be open for everyone that You died for, Jesus. How can we represent You if we don’t want people who You died for?

So we pray from the bottom of our heart, God. Let there be a baptism of agape love, Your love, so that we see people the way You see them, God, and we feel what You feel toward people and we don’t get caught up in our backgrounds and cultural genetics, so that we see people through the jaundiced eye, Lord, of our own personalities.

I pray, God, that there will be just an open-door policy in our hearts and in our churches, that we can lead the way and show the world that we love everyone because we belong to You.

Let this baptism of love begin now, we pray, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

Hi, this is Skip Heitzig in the beautiful Land of Enchantment, New Mexico. It’s my honor to offer a prayer today for our country and for our unique form of government in three branches. Specifically,

I would like to lift up the Supreme Court justices of this nation. They need wisdom, and they need God’s wisdom. And so, let’s pray.

Lord, we ask for You to give Your wisdom to them and that they would lean on Your wisdom. We pray that they would make decisions that are based upon Your precepts, Your laws, on which our country’s laws were based. And we ask that You would direct their choices, as well as protect them from influences that do not honor You.

Father, our country is facing division like never before. We pray that we would again be a people who pledge a united allegiance for the common good of our great country—a nation, as we say, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Father, we’re facing a spiritual battle, and we’re sensing that You are rallying Your people together to come in prayer, to worship in spirit and in truth, and to stand against all of the schemes of our spiritual enemy.

Lord, turn us back to You. Bring revival across this country and a renewed passion to Your people that they may share Your truth and bring many more into the fold of the knowledge of Your saving grace. Please, fortify us to be worthy to be called by Your Name.

And it’s in the mighty Name of Your Son, our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, that we pray these things. Amen.

I am Pastor Lloyd Pulley here in New Jersey, and unless the Lord builds the house, we labor in vain who build it. So I’m honored to pray on behalf of New Jersey.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your amazing grace in our lives, awakening us to life in You, in Your Son. And I pray, Lord, in this season, in our nation. You’ve blessed us in the past with so many powerful moves of Your Spirit. Revival. Awakenings. And, Lord, we know now unless You build the house, we labor in vain. So, Lord, we bring our little loaves and fishes, a little boy’s lunch, to You. It’s all we have. And, Lord, unless you multiply it, we have nothing. So we pray, Lord, that You would multiply that work that we lift up to You.

I pray especially that You would prepare the hearts of pastors throughout this nation to bring bold preaching in their pulpits, the truth of the Gospel. Give us courage in the public square to speak the truth in love, to not compromise with the unborn, with education for our children, for families to be strong. Lord, we are desperate. We pray, will You not revive us again? Will You not stir the hearts of many in the past generations where You’ve moved?

So, Lord, we commit this to You, Lord. Thank You for Your mercies. In Jesus’ precious Name we pray. Amen.

Thank you for spending just a few moments with us today in prayer. I am Peter Chamberland, and I have the privilege of pastoring here in the great state of New Hampshire. And we know that the answer across America today is the Lord Jesus Christ, and we have to return to prayer. And so would you join me for the next few moments as we go before the Lord in this time of prayer?

Our Father, Lord, we’re so grateful for the privilege that You’ve given to us to be able to come before You in prayer. Thank You for the Lord Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He has made for each and every one of us upon Calvary. Lord, as we think about our state and our nation today, Lord, I’m thankful that Jesus is the answer.

There are families that are struggling across our nation. There’s families that have lost loved ones, Lord, through drug and alcohol addiction. Lord, would You give comfort and grace to those families? Lord, I am praying for the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to be able to have free reign across our nation. That our churches would be revived. That Christians would be the salt and light that the Bible commands that we are. May the Holy Spirit of God give boldness to be able to speak for Christ, and may the Gospel go forth like it has never gone before.

May the pulpits of America preach the Word of God, and may souls be saved. May the backslidden turn to Christ. Lord, may lost ones come to You. May there be a true revival, beginning in our families, and our churches, and across our nation, for the glory of God.

We believe that You are able to do this. We come to You and ask that You would do great and mighty things. And, Lord, we trust You with this. Lord, may our nation turn to You. Thank You for all that You do for us in Your blessings. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Hey, everybody. My name is Scott Worthington, and I am the pastor of Hope Church here in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a great honor of mine to represent the great state of Nevada as we pray for our nation.

You know, in 250 years, God has done incredible things in this great nation. We are blessed and privileged to live in the United States of America, and I want to pray today that God will continue to have His hand of favor on us as a country, understanding, though, that none of that is owed to us—all of it is His grace. I want us to remember John 15:5, where Jesus says, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” Let us take that sentiment into prayer. Pray with me.

Jesus, thank You, Lord, for the privilege and the honor and the freedom that we have in this great United States of America. God, I do pray for Your church here in this great nation. God, I pray for every follower of Jesus who has been saved by grace through faith in Christ, that we would be a people that abides in Christ. We would spend time with You, Lord, and out of the overflow of what You’re doing in our lives, Lord, You would allow us to be a blessing and bear fruit in our country. God, thank You for Your hand of favor for 250 years, and right now, we pray for more grace and more favor. But we understand that apart from You, we can do nothing.

So, Lord, every single follower of Jesus watching this video right now, would You just remind them of the call of their lives is to intimacy with Jesus, to spend time with You, Lord, and out of that You bear fruit in our lives and in our land. We love You, Lord. We thank You for what You’re doing in this great country.

Hello. Welcome to this special time of prayer. My name is Pastor Jeff Baker, and I’m from Nebraska. We’re going to be praying for our nation as well as the local church as we lean into this 250th celebration of our nation. Please join me in prayer.

Father, we stop in this brief moment, Lord, just to acknowledge Your faithfulness over the past generations, as You’ve led our nation to this point.

Lord, we’re thankful for all that You have done and all that You are preparing to do for our nation as well. Lord, we ask You to move on behalf of our nation in the hearts of people. God, would You cause Your church to come alive again? Cause Your church to burn bright again? Lord, would You cause Your message of hope and of love and of grace to reverberate throughout our nation, from the four corners, from the west to the east, and from the north to the south?

Lord, we ask that the church would once again burn in a heart of revival and share the Good News and the love of Jesus Christ in every state and in every county and in every community across this great nation.

Lord, we also ask that You would watch over and You would protect our members of our armed services, those who are serving both domestically and internationally. Lord, that You will protect them and You would guard them, and Lord, that You would watch over them, and, God, You will bring them back if they’re in situations of war or in places of conflict, that, Lord, You would protect them and bring them back safely.

For those who are serving, may they be reminded that, Lord, they are servants of Yours sent by You, and that, Lord, that they have a family and church that is praying for them and supporting them. So, Lord, we once again, at this 250th celebration of our nation, we dedicate our nation to You. We dedicate our states to You. We dedicate our church to You.

May this nation shine bright and may the local church shine bright for the hope and the love of Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, amen. Thank you for praying with me.
