The NFL has revealed that Brandi Carlile will deliver America the Beautiful at Super Bowl LX, taking place on 8 February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The eleven-time Grammy winner joins a star-studded bill that includes Charlie Puth singing the national anthem, Coco Jones performing Lift Every Voice and Sing, and a halftime show led by Bad Bunny. The event will air globally via NBC, Telemundo and Peacock.
Carlile — a proud Le***an artist and long-time champion of LGBTQ+ rights — has built a career defined as much by activism as by music. Through the Looking Out Foundation, which she co-founded in 2008 with her wife Catherine Shepherd, she has funnelled millions of dollars to grassroots organisations advancing LGBTQ+ equality, women’s empowerment and community-led justice. Recent grantees include OUTMemphis, the Tennessee Equality Project and shelters supporting vulnerable families across the US.
Her commitment to uplifting marginalised voices extends across her creative ventures: she curates the Girls Just Wanna Weekend festival, spotlighting women and LGBTQ+ performers, and co-runs XOBC Cellars, a wine label that is entirely women- and LGBTQ-owned. Her ethos of “lift as you climb” has helped accelerate the careers of artists such as Yola, Allison Russell and Brittney Spencer in a notoriously male-dominated industry.
Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez said: “Charlie, Brandi and Coco are generational talents, and we are honoured to have them on Super Bowl LX’s world stage. This moment embodies the very best of culture, live performance and our country.”
