We envision thriving communities connected to the environment and their food through work and play.

Gathering Ground cultivates community and learning in partnership with the generous earth through agriculture. Gathering Ground is a nonprofit founded in 2016 blending agriculture and conservation on its 40-acre working and teaching farm, which includes vineyards, orchards, gardens, a community compost program, fields and woods. With a vision for thriving communities connected to the environment and their food through work and play, we focus on sustainable farming practices including diverse fruit and nut orchards, integrating sheep, low-environmental-impact management for fruit, and promotion of biodiversity. Gathering Ground offers an educational internship for young people interested in regenerative agriculture, conservation, and environmentalism, as well as programs for all ages, including our annual Dinner in the Vineyard, a celebration of local food and drink among our vines.
