IMPORTANT NOTICE OF SCHEDULED OUTAGE: WEDNESDAY, MAY 27TH!!
We have discussed in the Magazine the fact that we were going to need to plan an extensive outage in order to replace poles on the corner of Jackson Harbor Rd and Airport Rd. If you drive by you will see that the poles have been framed and with the exception of some anchor work, we are ready to do the replacement.
This will involve a significant outage that will include everyone on Jackson Harbor Road, everyone on roads north of Jackson Harbor including Airport, Gasoline Town, Washington Harbor, Green Tree, Swenson, Indian Point, Pedants, Old Indian Point, Old Camp and everyone on roads south of Jackson Harbor Road including Range Line to the Big Hill, the North Half of Mountain Rd, Sunrise and Wickman to Michigan Rd and Townline West to just past Blue Cloud Ln.
We estimate this outage is going to be at least 8 hours and we will be taking it on Wednesday May 27th. Currently the weather forecast for that day looks good and if that changes, we will send out a new notification.
We are trying to accomplish this work while it is still cool out and are recommending you do not open your refrigerator or freezer during this outage.
We apologize for this inconvenience and hope you understand that this planned outage is absolutely necessary to replace these poles. If these poles fail, the outage will be substantially worse, and damage could be worse, so we have to be proactive in making this change. Unfortunately, these two poles affect a large number of our members.
To repeat, we will be having a planned outage affecting the above-mentioned areas on Wednesday May 27th and that outage is likely to last at least 8 hours. Please prepare accordingly.
