This Consortium is developing common leverage activities, artifacts, templates, tools and effective practices, all through the most unique collaborative: end users and marketplace providers working together!

We hear a lot about what districts are doing to protect student data privacy. But what about the vendors who build the tools students and teachers use every day?
We recently sat down with leaders from eight SDPC vendor member companies, and what they shared was genuinely inspiring. These are companies that built privacy into their products from the very beginning, and that see SDPC not just as a resource but as a community they want to help shape.

What stood out most: for every one of these vendors, protecting student data isn’t about avoiding trouble. It’s about doing right by students, building trust with schools, and creating a foundation for lasting partnerships.
