Big ratification win at National Beef in Dodge City! More than 2,525 Local 2 members approved a NEW five-year contract covering workers in processing, fabrication, shipping, and maintenance.

Together workers won:

46 warehouse workers at the Purina pet food plant in Denver have officially voted to join Local 7! These new members operate the heavy machinery and keep logistics and inventory moving at a plant that produces brands like Dog Chow, Beneful, and Pro Plan.

Workers came together to fight for a safer workplace, more accountability from management, and a real voice on the job for full and part-time workers alike.

Now, with the power of the union, they are ready to start bargaining their first contract. Let's get to work!

Hundreds of Uber drivers in British Columbia have voted to join Local 1518!

After seeing what drivers in Victoria won this spring with a first-of-its-kind agreement, they wanted the same protections. And now they’re covered by it too.

The contract includes:
✅ Bonuses for drivers, including a $250 union bonus for eligible drivers
✅ Access to a wellness fund
✅ An in-app, time-bound process to resolve disputes

85 home healthcare workers at Bayshore HealthCare Solutions in North York, Ontario, have voted to join UFCW Locals 175 and 633!

These workers provide essential in-home care to people living with serious health conditions. They chose to organize to fight for better wages, benefits, job security, working conditions, and safety protections.

Check it out: Charles County Public Library workers have ratified their first contract as Local 1994 MCGEO members!

The 56 members work in the public services, collection development, outreach, and custodial departments in the county’s four library locations. It is thanks to them that members of their communities are able to take advantage of the information, education, and essential resources their libraries provide.

The three-year contract secured higher wages, cost-of-living adjustments, and a stronger process for resolving grievances. Additionally, full-time employees who are proficient in Spanish and American Sign Language will receive an annual stipend.

Cannabis workers and Local 1445 members at New England Treatment Access in Franklin, Massachusetts, have ratified a STRONG new contract!

Despite management's best efforts to stall negotiations, these workers stood united and won a contact that delivers across-the-board raises, a $700 ratification bonus, better holiday and overtime pay, and improved benefits. Not to mention, their new contract also includes protections against the impacts of automation and AI in the workplace.
