Since 1984, the Warwick Historical Society’s Education Committee has welcomed Warwick’s fourth graders to experience history beyond the classroom, and this year was one of our biggest and most exciting programs yet.

Over the course of three days, we hosted:
📚 330 Warwick 4th Grade students
🏫 2 elementary schools
👩‍🏫 40 teachers and parent chaperones
🙋 25 dedicated WHS volunteers
🏛️ 4 historic properties
✨ 3 brand-new lesson plans

A big thank you to the Village of Warwick, the Warwick DPW, Warwick Fire Dept. and the Warwick Police Dept. for helping ensure the tours ran smoothly and safely. Thank you to the teachers, bus drivers, school administrators, parent volunteers, and the many community partners who helped make these tours possible for the students.

Most importantly, thank you to our incredible volunteers, Education Committee members, and office staff who spent months planning! Your dedication helps bring Warwick’s history to life for the next generation.
