🏛️ HISTORY UNCOVERED: A Summer Day Camp for Young Historians
📅 August 10–14, 2026
👧🧒 Ages 8–10 (Entering Grades 3–5)
Forget textbooks—this is history you can touch, explore, and experience!
Throughout the week, campers will:
🔎 Hunt for clues from Warwick's past
⚔️ Learn about spies, soldiers, and the American Revolution
🚂 Climb aboard a historic railroad caboose
🏡 Visit five incredible historic sites
🎨 Create hands-on crafts and projects
🌾 Discover how colonial kids lived, worked, and played
🍎 Enjoy games, snacks, and special guest historians
From the Shingle House to Baird's Tavern, from the Old School Baptist Meeting House to the Sly Barn, every day is a new adventure into the people and places that helped shape Warwick—and America.
At the end of the week, every camper will earn the title of Junior Warwick Historian and receive a Certificate of Achievement!
As our nation marks America 250, there's never been a better time for young people to discover the stories of courage, community, and everyday life that built our country.
