This is the part of Residential that can’t be captured in a job description.

It’s dinner at Applebee’s and debating which drink to try. It’s tending to your plants, showing up for community events, getting your hair done, cheering someone on, painting, playing games, cooking dinner, and laughing with the people you’ve chosen to spend your time with.

It’s having somewhere to go. Something to look forward to. People who notice when you’re there.

At RISE, Residential Services provide the support people need—but the support isn’t the story.

The life they’re living is.

Our job is to help make more of it possible: more independence, more choices, more connections, more experiences, and more opportunities to be part of the communities we all call home.

Because a meaningful life isn’t made up of extraordinary moments.

It’s made up of ordinary moments that belong to you. 💚 💙 💜

Community leadership meets the RISE mission. 💜

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the 2026 Johnson County CLIMB class to RISE for their Resource Day!

The group toured our facility, learned more about the programs and services happening at RISE, and spent time connecting over lunch—with a pretty special detail behind the meal: it was prepared by some of the people we serve.

Opportunities like this give us the chance to open our doors and show community leaders what RISE is really about—the people, the programs, the skills being developed, and the meaningful opportunities happening here every day.

A huge thank you to Johnson County CLIMB for choosing to spend part of your day with us and for taking the time to learn more about RISE and the people we serve.

Full plates, new connections, and a stronger community. That’s a pretty good lunch. 💜

🎨📼 RISE is rewinding it back for Retro Rewind!

Our window is officially dressed for the occasion — complete with a little old-school flair and a whole lot of RISE spirit. 💜

We had so much fun bringing this one to life for the window painting contest, and now we need YOUR help!

👀 Check it out, show it some love, and cast your vote for RISE!

Because around here, creating possibilities never goes out of style. 📻✨

Sometimes someone comes to RISE needing help after they've already heard “no.”

Insurance won't cover it.
Funding isn't available.
The family has tried everything they know to try.

But the need is still there.

Transportation. Therapy. Adaptive equipment. A home modification. Something that could mean more independence, more dignity, or simply make everyday life a little easier.

For six years, our community has helped the RISE Scholarship Program provide more than $165,000 in assistance when other resources fall short.

And we want to keep saying YES.

On September 17, we're asking our community to help us do that.

Buy a ticket. Fill a table. Donate an auction item, gift card, service, dessert, or monetary gift. Or simply share this post.

💜 Ready to be part of someone's “yes”? Purchase your tickets or table here:

Because another person will need help. Another family will run out of options. And when they ask,

“Is there anything you can do?”

We want our answer to be yes! 💜

Help us keep that answer possible.

Did you know RISE Community Services has its very own thrift store?

RISE Racks Thrift Store is more than a place to find great deals. Located in downtown Warrensburg, the store helps create meaningful employment and training opportunities for adults with disabilities while giving donated items a second life.

Every time you shop or donate, you’re helping support opportunities right here in our community.

Stop by RISE Racks at 125 N. Holden St. in downtown Warrensburg and see what you can find! If you are interested in donating, visit our drive-through donation center in the back of our vocational center parking lot, located at 607 N Ridgeview Dr in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Thrifting is one of the easiest ways to shop more sustainably, save money and give quality items a second life. At RISE Racks, it also means supporting opportunities for adults with disabilities right here in our community.

Every donation and every purchase helps make a difference. Stop by, find something you'll love and shop with purpose.
