☀️ Summer is officially underway at RISE! 💜

Last week, staff and the individuals we support came together for an afternoon filled with good food, laughter, and plenty of fun. From burgers and popsicles to smiles and memories, our Summer Kick-Off BBQ was a reminder that the best moments are often the ones we share.

We’re currently collecting cardboard boxes for our warehouse, and your donations can make a real impact. Boxes of all sizes help support daily operations and allow us to continue serving individuals with disabilities throughout our community.

If you have extra moving boxes, shipping boxes, or clean cardboard boxes you no longer need, consider dropping them off and giving them a second purpose.

Please join us in welcoming Rachel Gallagher to the RISE family as our new Home & Community Services Manager!

Rachel will help lead and support our Home & Community Services programs, working alongside individuals, families, staff, and community partners to ensure the people we serve receive high-quality, person-centered support. Her role will be instrumental in fostering growth, building strong teams, and helping individuals thrive in their homes and communities.

We're excited to have Rachel on board and look forward to the positive impact she will make throughout our organization.

It's only our second year, but somehow this event already has a way of reminding us what really matters.

For one day, the focus isn't on limitations, differences, or what someone can't do.

It's on joy.

It's on courage.

It's on the simple act of showing up and giving your best.

Watching these athletes run, jump, laugh, celebrate, and encourage one another makes it impossible not to fall in love with the joy that comes from simply being yourself.

Maybe that's the lesson they teach the rest of us.

To stop worrying so much.
To cheer a little louder.
To try a little harder.
To celebrate every victory.

Because life isn't about being the fastest, the strongest, or the best.

It's about showing up, giving your all, and finding joy along the way.

And that's something worth falling in love with again and again. 💜

62 Athletes. Countless Smiles. One Incredible Community. ❤️

Our RISE Track & Field Event was a tremendous success, bringing together 62 athletes for a day filled with competition, encouragement, laughter, and accomplishment.
