Small Business Tuesday

We are not in competition with each other. When small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs work side by side, amazing things can happen. Our community grows stronger when we lift each other up, share what we do, and celebrate one another’s hard work.

If you own a small business, an MLM, or a nonprofit, share it with us in the comments. Let’s connect and support one another. Together we can build a better future filled with unity, kindness, and purpose. Our community is stronger when we work together.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding us that true strength begins with humility before You. Your Word says, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James 4:10). Help us to walk in humility, recognizing that every good thing we have comes from Your hand.

Remove pride and self-centeredness from our hearts. Teach us to serve others with compassion and grace, just as Jesus did. Let our words build others up and our actions reflect Your love.

When we are tempted to seek recognition, remind us that Your approval is all we need. Help us to stay humble, kind, and obedient to Your will in all things.

In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.

Every time you are behind the wheel someone’s life is in your hands.
Drive like it matters because it does to families to friends and to the people who love them.

Choosing Compassion Over Judgment

Judgment often feels justified. When we have been hurt, disappointed, or let down, judging others can feel like protection. It creates distance. It gives a sense of control. But Scripture shows us that judgment hardens the heart while compassion keeps it soft.

Jesus consistently chose compassion. He saw behavior, but He looked deeper. He recognized pain, fear, and brokenness beneath actions. This did not mean He excused harm. It meant He refused to reduce people to their worst moments.

Judgment simplifies people into categories. Compassion requires effort. It asks us to slow down, to see others as complex and human. Compassion does not deny truth. It approaches truth with humility and mercy.

When we choose compassion, something changes inside us. Anger loses its grip. Understanding grows. Peace becomes easier to access. Compassion protects us from becoming bitter or self righteous.

This week completes the six week focus on learning to love like God. Love that reflects God is patient, truthful, boundaried, secure, and compassionate.

Simple practice for this week

When you feel judgment rise, pause and notice it without acting on it.
Ask yourself
What might this person be carrying that I cannot see
Choose one compassionate response, even if only in your thoughts.

Compassion keeps love from becoming cold.

The New Covenant Explained

Scripture teaches that the New Covenant was God’s plan to restore relationship fully and permanently. Under the New Covenant, people are transformed from the inside out rather than trying to follow rules through effort alone.

God’s law moves from stone tablets to human hearts. The New Covenant emphasizes grace, forgiveness, and renewal through faith rather than performance.

God’s desire has always been relationship, not religious obligation.

Why that matters

Many people struggle with faith because they feel they can never measure up. Scripture shows that the New Covenant is based on God’s work, not human perfection.

Grace changes how people live, love, and respond to others.

How this applies to us today

Living under the New Covenant means walking in grace, gratitude, and transformation. Obedience flows from love rather than fear.

When we live changed lives rooted in grace, we reflect a God who redeems, renews, and restores hearts.
