This is the place to find all the up to date information on W.C.F.N. Do you remember being a child on Halloween? Do you remember all of the activities we had to do? … Getting dressed up for the Halloween party at school and the Halloween Parade … spending hours in town going from house to house and to the firehall party and all the church parties and the haunted houses at the schools to come home
with a TON of goodies!!! Remember all of the games we had?? … bobbing for apples … the sawdust search for quarters … the costume contests and pumpkin carving contests?? Remember going to a friends house so your parents could go to the “adult dance” and staying up til the wee hours of the morning making ourselves sick on the nights score?? Where is all of that? It’s been traded in for healthy food and safety. Don’t get me wrong, healthy food and safety is VERY important! But don’t the kids deserve at least one night a year to get all dressed up and completely messy and have it be “ok”?? They do! Don’t adults deserve the same thing?? THEY DO!! I have some HUGE ideas in the making but in order to make them work I need help .. lots of help .. and funding … all of this takes time! My long term goal for these events are to eventually take them to a large event space and make a weekend or week long event. Numerous haunted houses, craft vendors, carnival rides with a spooky theme, multiple dances for teens and adults alike, many photography opportunities to play out your favorite Halloween scene and all around just a lot of fun and activities for all ages! If you or anyone you know would be interested in helping out in ANY way please contact me! We are looking for office holders as well as TONS of volunteers to help with advertising, food, fundraisers, set up/tear down, security and clean up! The more people we can get to help out .. even a little .. the faster we can make this an amazing thing for Warren County! If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
