One of the most valuable parts of Leadership Warren County isn’t just the information learned throughout the year — it’s the connections built along the way. 💙

At our closing spring retreat, the Class of 2026 created this “Leadership Network Map” to visually represent the people, organizations, boards, businesses, nonprofits, schools, and community groups they are connected to throughout Warren County and beyond.

What started as a group of individuals from different backgrounds became a powerful network of leaders who now better understand how deeply connected our community truly is.

This exercise was a reminder that leadership doesn’t happen alone. Collaboration, relationships, and community partnerships are what help move Warren County forward. We are so proud of this class and excited to see how they continue making an impact long after graduation. 🌟

Please join us in celebrating the Leadership Warren County Class of 2026 at graduation on Wednesday, June 3 at 11:00 AM at Interfaith Chapel. All are welcome!

🌾 Leadership Warren County – Agriculture Day Recap 🐄 🐈

What a fantastic day exploring the impact of agriculture right here in our region!

We kicked off the morning at the Warren County Conservation District, where we learned how they work behind the scenes to protect our natural resources—supporting farmers, preserving farmland, and ensuring clean water for our community. We also participated in an eye-opening activity that highlighted just how far our food travels to reach us, along with discussing alternative options for purchasing food locally, which sparked some great conversation.

Next, we traveled to Lindell Dairy Farm in Busti, where we got an inside look at a working dairy operation. From daily milking routines to herd care and nutrition, it was eye-opening to see the level of dedication and consistency it takes to produce the dairy products we use every day.

We wrapped up the day at Barry’s Barnyard in Sugar Grove, owned by Tammy and Barry VanOrd, where we learned about raising beef cattle. It was a great opportunity to see another side of agriculture and understand how local farms contribute to our food system and economy.

Days like today truly highlight the importance of agriculture in our community and the hard work of those who make it all possible. Thank you to all of our hosts for sharing your time, knowledge, and passion with our class!

Today’s Leadership Warren County session brought us inside the Warren County Courthouse for an engaging and eye-opening experience.

We had the opportunity to hear from an incredible group of speakers who helped us better understand how our local court system functions—from law enforcement to the courtroom and everything in between. Learning how each role connects gave our class a deeper appreciation for the complexity and importance of the justice system in our community.

We also took a step back in time as we explored the history of the courthouse itself. One of the most powerful moments was seeing the preserved bullet holes from the 1954 shooting of Judge Wade—a sobering reminder of the building’s history and the weight of the work that happens within its walls.

Thank you to all of our presenters for your time, transparency, and commitment to serving Warren County. Experiences like this are what make Leadership Warren County so impactful.
