📖 Introducing the first edition of the J2:18 Ministry Update: Going Beyond Outreach

J2:18 is inspired by Joshua 2:18, where the spies instructed Rahab to tie a scarlet cord in her window. The scarlet cord was a sign of protection and a readiness to be rescued. Today, it reminds us of hope, courage, and the possibility of a new beginning.

This month, we’re sharing three stories that helped shape our commitment to Going Beyond Outreach. Through each of these women, God has shown us that lasting change often requires more time, more relationship, and more support than can happen during outreach alone.

❤️ Princess R took a courageous step toward a new beginning and entered a safe home after years of prayer, encouragement, and relationship.

🙏 Princess T recently celebrated more than one month of sobriety. During a health challenge, volunteers were able to visit, pray, encourage, and walk alongside her as she considers longer-term recovery options.

🌱 Princess D made a lasting impression on our team during a single outreach encounter. After months of searching and praying for an opportunity to reconnect, we were able to meet with her through our jail mentorship ministry. She is now considering a different path forward and has asked for help as she prepares for life after release.

These stories remind us that outreach is often where the relationship begins—not where it ends.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, volunteered, prayed, and partnered with J2:18 during these first months. We are grateful for the opportunities God is providing and excited about what lies ahead.

Praise Report 💙

J2:18 has experienced our first rescue.

While this is the first rescue through our newly formed organization, it is built on years of faithful outreach and relationships our team cultivated through previous ministry efforts in the community.

For years, our team had the privilege of visiting with, encouraging, and praying alongside this sweet woman. Today, we are grateful to share that she is safe and on her way to a new beginning.

She was one of the inspirations behind our commitment to go beyond outreach—to slow down, build trust, share a meal, send a text message, and walk alongside women one relationship at a time.

Today, we celebrate God’s faithfulness, her incredible courage, and the power of simply remaining present.

We know this is only the beginning, and we look forward to the new assignments God has ahead for J2:18.

Thank you to everyone who prays, volunteers, gives, and believes that freedom is possible.

Today we honor the strength, sacrifice, courage, and love carried by mothers everywhere — including the women who mother through hardship, healing, loss, foster care, adoption, mentorship, and simply showing up day after day.
Happy Mother’s Day from J2:18. ❤️

“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

Sometimes courage looks like simply stepping forward.

At J2:18, we go into our communities—meeting women where they are and creating space for hope and connection.

There’s something special about street outreach.
You find yourself in conversations you didn’t expect—simple moments that stay with you.
It’s not always easy, but it often becomes something meaningful in ways you don’t see coming.

We’re expanding our outreach in Macon and Warner Robins, with more teams going out more often.
It takes both men and women to serve on our outreach teams—there is a place for you.

If you’ve ever thought about stepping in, we’d love to invite you to come see it for yourself. Even one time can make a difference.

He is risen. And with Him, freedom.

This Easter, we’re reminded that freedom isn’t just a word… it’s a gift, a sacrifice, and a call to live differently.

Walk in it. Own it. Share it.

Happy Easter from The Freedom Collective. ✝️🐣

April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we don’t take that lightly.

Freedom isn’t built alone. It’s carried by people who show up, give back, and serve something bigger than themselves.

To the ones putting in the time, the heart, and the work, thank you. You are the backbone of real change.

This month, we honor you. And we challenge others to step up.

Freedom moves when people do. 🇺🇸

Freedom is more than escape. It’s restoration. It’s dignity. It’s the chance to rebuild what was stolen.

Every survivor of trafficking carries incredible strength, and with the right support, healing is possible. 💛

The Freedom Collective exists to walk alongside survivors, providing resources, advocacy, and a community that believes in their future.

When we stand together, exploitation loses its power.
