📢 Need Help Applying for CalFresh? We’ve Got You! 💚

Join Mt. SAC Basic Needs Resources TODAY, Wednesday, October 14, for our CalFresh Application Assistance Lab!

Our team is here to help students navigate the CalFresh application process and take the next step toward accessing food benefits.

📍 Location: 9C Stage

⏰ Today’s Schedule:

* Session 1: 9 AM – 12 PM
* Break: 12 PM – 1 PM
* Session 2: 1 PM – 5 PM

A Few Things to Know:
✅ Application assistance begins every hour.
✅ Students arriving between start times may need to wait until the next hourly session.
✅ Plan for approximately 30–60 minutes to complete your application.

Our Basic Needs Resources Hygiene Drive is BACK! 🧼🪥

Help us stock our Basic Needs Hygiene Closet and provide essential hygiene products to Mt. SAC students.

📅 October 12 – November 20

We’re collecting shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, menstrual hygiene products, baby diapers, wipes, and more!

🍕 And we’ve added a little friendly competition! Thanks to the generosity of a private donor, the participating campus area that collects the MOST donations will win a PIZZA PARTY! 🎉

📍 Donation drop-off locations are available across campus! Check out the flyer to find a participating location near you.

Every donation makes a difference! Together, we can help ensure our Mounties have access to the everyday essentials they need to thrive. 💙

📢 Basic Needs Resources Update

The Basic Needs Resources Center will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18, for staff training and development. 💛

Our team is taking this time to learn, connect, and strengthen our practices so we can continue providing Mt. SAC students with compassionate and effective support.

🗓️ We’ll reopen Wednesday, August 19 during our regular hours of operation.
