Tonight, Aurora Lodge No. 423 in Walnut Ridge conferred the Entered Apprentice Degree on Billy Blair.

Great turnout with 31 Brothers representing at least 11 lodges coming together in support of our newest Brother.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the evening a success, and to those who prepared the excellent taco bar that everyone enjoyed!

Congratulations Brother Billy, and welcome to the Craft!

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of our brother, David Hall Johnson, who laid down his working tools Friday morning at the age of 76.

Brother David was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Aurora Lodge #423 of Walnut Ridge in 1971. He remained devoted to the Craft throughout his life.

He was a longtime member of the York Rite Bodies, having first joined in Pine Bluff, and became a Scottish Rite Mason in Jonesboro in 2022.

Most recently, Brother David served Aurora Lodge as Senior Deacon and Junior Warden. Though his health prevented him from attending lodge regularly over the past year, he remained closely connected to his brothers through Facebook and group messages, always offering a kind word of encouragement or a heartfelt congratulations.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Cindy and family.
