Today, Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership Development joins communities around the world in recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day.

We remember those we have lost to overdose, stand with their families and loved ones, and honor those who are working toward recovery and healing.

💜 Remember. Educate. Prevent. Support.

Overdose can affect any community, but overdose is preventable. By talking openly, reducing stigma, sharing resources, and supporting one another, we can help save lives.

Let us continue to Break the Stigma, Build Hope, and Save Lives.

Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership Development was honored to attend the Overdose Awareness Event – Break Stigma, Build Hope 2026 on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Our Community Health Worker, Dianne Brown, proudly represented Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership Development at this important community event.

It was an amazing and impactful event filled with wonderful information, valuable resources, education, and opportunities to connect with others who are working to make a difference in our communities.

We are grateful to have been a part of an event that brings awareness, promotes understanding, breaks down stigma, and helps build hope.
