Yesterday our Department proudly participated in the annual Orange County Volunteer Firemen's Association (OCVFA) parade hosted by the Washingtonville Fire Department. Our department was represented by 30
Members. We took home trophies for 2nd place chiefs vehicle, 3rd place antique apparatus, and 3rd place men’s class a. Despite the tough times we’ve been through lately we wanted to make sure we showed up to support the county association and our great friends from Washingtonville FD. Before trophies we were presented a plaque from Washingtonville in recognition of our dedication to service despite our current setback. We are forever grateful for the friendship and brotherhood we have built with Washingtonville over the years. Thank you to our dedicated members who cleaned the antique all week, showed up to march, provided fire police assistance during the parade, and stayed in service to answer calls. We would also like to give a big thank you to Modena Fire & Rescue for providing coverage to us and Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department during the parade. Great job OCVFA and Washingtonville Fire Department for an awesome convention.

Good morning, Coldenham community!

Since many of you have been asking — and because this is one of our favorite times of the year — we wanted to officially share an update with you all regarding our annual Halloween party.

Unfortunately, due to the devastating circumstances our department and our members faced back in late July, we will be unable to hold our annual Halloween Party this year.

Our Halloween Party has always been a special event for our department and, more importantly, an opportunity for us to bring the Coldenham community together, especially the kids and families who look forward to celebrating with us every year.

While we are disappointed that we cannot continue the tradition this year, our members are incredibly grateful for the continued support, kindness, and encouragement that the Coldenham community has shown us over the past several months. It has meant more to us than we can put into words.

We look forward to the day when we can once again open our doors, gather with our neighbors, and celebrate Halloween together. Rest assured, we will be back, bigger and better than ever!

Thank you for your continued support and understanding, and we hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween season!

Sincerely,

Coldenham Fire Department
