Hi all. Still no sure date that we will be able to move into the new place we found in New Windsor. It has still not been cleaned out and it will probably need a lot more cleaning up before we start rebuilding anything. we still do not know how many of our members will make the move with us. Many we haven't heard from yet. In any case we will still be looking for new members to join us in the rebuilding and learning process.

We may be getting a new home in the basement of the Orange County Veterans Center on Lawrence AVE. in New Windsor. We have a meeting with our club to discuss this opportunity after the New Year. It is not the best of places but we can make due with it. We thought we had a better place in Pleasant Valley in Dutchess County but the rent they were wanting was $1,400 per month. Stay tuned.

TOYX President Rudy Garbely has issued a statement regarding the situation in Port Jervis and its impact on both TOYX's volunteers and the ongoing preservation of Port Jervis's history. Read the full statement at https://www.toyx.org/statement

This will be our last statement on the matter for the foreseeable future, pending any change in the decisions of the City of Port Jervis, NY that would permit the exhibits of both the Erie Turntable and the Tri-States Railway Preservation Society to remain intact at the turntable site.

The Olde Newburgh Model RR Club will be at the Hopewell Depot Museum in Hopewell Junction NY. 36 Railroad Avenue with an N Gauge T-Trak layout. We will be there from 10a to 2p. We will be setup in the depot itself. If you are in the area come visit with us. We are still doing shows and displays with our traveling HO and N layouts. Threr will also be other RR related displays for viewing.

We are going to be at the Orange County Railroad Festival at the Erie Turntable in port Jervis on Sunday August 31st. we're displaying our T-Trak layout there. The Festival opens at 11am.
While we no longer have our layouts at our former location we do have an HO and N gauge T-Trak layouts for display at shows.

Hi all. Both of our layouts have been dismantled and are packed away into shipping containers in different parts of the State. We moved the HO layout last Saturday. The N layout was moved over the last few weeks due to the distance in the trip length. We are still hopeful that they will be reassembled somewhere affordable for us. Just how long we will keep them in storage is undecided. We still have our HO show layout and our N scale T-Trak layout to take to shows in our area. We will be in Port Jervis on August 31st. and Hopewell Junction on September 13th. both with the T-Trak layout.

We have dismantled half of our N gauge layout and the layout will be stored in a shipping container for future reassembly in its entirety(hopefully). The HO layout will also be stored for future reuse but at the price of most of its Mountainous scenery. There's always a chance we will find a place.

It is with a Heavy Heart that I have to inform you that we have received the date of our club's ex*****on. it is June, 30th. 2025. We have to be totally out of the building by then. We still have not decided on the fate of the HO layout. The N layout will be disassembled and moved to my property in the Catskills near Delhi NY and be interred for future use or sale. We can not find a place to set the layouts up due to the space needed and the unaffordable rents. We are not going out of business as we will still attend shows with either out portable HO or N layouts. Thank you for following us and liking us over the years.

Well, It's been a while since I made any posts here. the news has not gotten any better about our present location. This past Wednesday evening we began the process of dismantling our HO layout, removing Skyboards and skirting so we can locate the places where we will be able to make the cuts in the benchwork. We have a shipping container at one members house to try to store as much as we can for reassembly the future. We still do not have a get out by date. We meet every Wednesday evening and will try to maintain a running layout as long as we can. If you want to see it before it's gone come by around 5:30 any Wednesday. P.S. We will still attend any shows in our area as we still will have our HO and N scale T-Trak layouts to show.
