With all respect and concern for those injured or suffering property and income loss from the Effingham tornados, this is an automotive page so I’ll also mourn the loss of the fantastic Corvette and VW museum at Mid America Motorworks. So many good cars and historic items lost or damaged. Founder Mike Yager was a spectacular host when we would stop there during Power Tour, and he lost the whole Corvette and VW business he built for 52 years.

We are still accepting sponsors for this event. Being a sponsor for our event will help the lines club to be able to help our community when in need. The Lions club does a lot for the community and are a non profit! Some of the things we do: We help with food drives, sponsor kids with disabilities to the Texas Lions Camp, provide vision screenings for free and so much more!
