What an incredible evening at Mentor Waco’s Fundraising Awards Night!

We want to give a huge congratulations to all of our students who received Core Value Awards this year. One of the best parts of the night is seeing the surprise and excitement on their faces when they realize their hard work, character, and growth have been noticed throughout the year. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

A special congratulations to our two seniors who received their Completion Awards for successfully completing the Mentor Waco program. We are excited to see what the future holds for you!

We would also like to congratulate everyone who received awards in recognition of their support of Mentor Waco throughout the year. Thank you to all who purchased tickets, attended the event, and continue to invest in the lives of our students.

Our students did an outstanding job writing, practicing, and delivering their speeches. Speaking in front of an audience is not easy, and they showed tremendous courage, confidence, and growth. All of their hard work paid off, and their speeches were incredible!

As always, the food was amazing, the students were amazing, and the evening was a wonderful reminder of the impact that mentorship can make.

Congratulations, Patrick Lee & Serenity Bedford-Lee! 🎓

This weekend, we had the honor of celebrating two outstanding Mentor Waco seniors, Patrick Lee and Serenity Bedford-Lee, as they graduated from high school!

There were moments when the journey felt challenging, long days when the work seemed difficult, and obstacles that had to be overcome. Every lesson learned, every hurdle conquered, and every step forward was worth it. Your hard work, resilience, and determination have led you to this incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Thank you for allowing Mentor Waco to be a part of your journey. Watching you grow, mature, and accomplish your goals has been a privilege, and we are excited to see all that God has in store for your future.

While you have graduated, you will always be a part of the Mentor Waco family. We look forward to watching your continued success and hope to see you return one day to encourage, inspire, and pour into the next generation of youth following in your footsteps.

For the first time ever, Mentor Waco is hosting a fundraising awards ceremony to celebrate everything our students have accomplished this year!

Come out and see what our students, mentors, and program have been working on throughout the year while supporting a mission that continues to impact youth in our community.
