Join us next Tuesday, May 19th at 6PM CST to hear from Dr. Erin Hernandez, OTD, OTR. She has a passion for pediatric care, research, and helping to shape the future of occupational therapy.

As a pediatric occupational therapist, Hernandez works in outpatient and school-based pediatric settings where she treats children across a wide range of ages and diagnoses. To further her professional development in this area, Hernandez has earned certifications for Ayres Sensory Integration and to work with patients living with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Currently, she is studying for the Pediatrics Board Exam to deepen her specialization in pediatric occupational therapy.

Congratulations to the Class of ’27 on completing your very first lab! 🎉

Despite unexpected weather and a change in format, Lab 1.1 still provided valuable learning opportunities for the class of 2027. Whether you completed this lab fully online or got to experience the fun of being at Baylor, we are so proud of each of you for adapting and rising to the challenge.

Whether it’s your first day of fieldwork or your very first day of OT school, you are going to do amazing things and accomplish so much this year. We can’t wait to see all that you achieve.
