Every fundraiser has to start somewhere and we are off with $4500 so far!! We have a ways to go but we know that our community will RALLY and the Lord will guide us. 🙏🏼❤️ Please keep sharing! As we head into the holidays and season of giving, I am thrilled to partner up with JMB Fishing Foundation and their Christmas Miracle Trac-Chair Fundraiser🎄🎅🏼
What is JMB Fishing Foundation you may ask? They are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by Jimmy and his wife, Miranda Bennett. They specialize in making the dreams come true of experiencing the great outdoors for children with terminal illnesses or disabilities. These kiddos have spent their life only knowing a wheelchair or a hospital room to be the norm and JMB Foundation has made it their mission to give these amazing kids experiences of a lifetime whether it be a hunting or fishing trip! 🦌🐟
One thing we all take for granted is being able to walk and hike in nature’s beauty. A dear friend, Woodall Ivy, and her sweet daughter, Faith, were able to experience one of these hunts recently! The team at JMB Foundation carried Faith and her wheelchair through the wilderness so that she could have a once in-a-lifetime experience of a mule deer hunt in Colorado! 🗻
But carrying a wheelchair with a child in it is not the goal we have in mind. The ultimate goal is to give these children the ability and independence of navigating on their own!l on these hunts! The Trac-Chair gives them this gift🎁
This all-terrain wheelchair can go over the rocks and hills with ease. Something that these children have never experienced before! To see their eyes light up once they see what they are able to do for the first time is inexplicable. And we want to be able to give more children the chance to do this in their lifetime.❤️
Please join our cause in raising funds for these chairs! They are $20k when fully outfitted. Our goal is purchase two! Every donation makes a difference; no matter how big or small! It’s a major feat; but we know many will step up for the cause. Will you?🙏🏼🙏🏼
