Do you know about a Red Flag warning?

Red-Flag warning days are critical periods of extreme fire danger. Conditions of dry vegetation, low humidity and warm weather, and often gusty winds.

A RED FLAG is your Warning to use caution. It informs communities that conditions are primed for a fire to start easily and spread quickly. On Red Flag weather days: avoid creating sparks: Do not use power tools, lawnmowers, or heavy equipment.
Always- Stay informed. Harden your home. Have a GO-Bag ready and know your evacuation route.

4. Life Jackets
When used correctly, life jackets protect you when you are not expecting to be in the water,
especially around open water. U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) tested and approved life jackets should be worn by everyone in or around open water, especially when boating. Life jackets should be sized appropriately for the wearer. When other layers of protection may break down, life jackets can help prevent unintentional drowning.
Implementing the "5 layers of protection" creates a redundant safety system, ensuring that if one layer fails, others are in place to prevent tragedy.

3. Water Competency
Every child and adult should be equipped with the skills to protect themselves in the water by
learning and enhancing their basic water safety skills, to reduce the risk of drowning and
aquatic-related injuries.

Implementing the "5 layers of protection" creates a redundant safety system, ensuring that if one layer fails, others are in place to prevent tragedy.

The 2nd LAYER of 5 is-Supervision
Stay vigilant and aware -with close, constant, and capable adult supervision from a designated water watcher or lifeguard- anytime children are in or around water. Especially when hosting an event.

Implementing the "5 layers of protection" creates a redundant safety system, ensuring that if one layer fails, others are in place to prevent tragedy.

A thank you will never be enough to fully honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Today we remember the brave men and women who gave everything so we could live in liberty. We train in their honor, with deep gratitude in our hearts.
May they rest in peace.
This workout is dedicated to all who served and sacrificed. We will never forget.

On Memorial Day. we pause to honor all U.S. Military personnel who died in service to their country.

The first of 5 layers:Barriers and Alarms.
Since you can’t always keep your eyes on the water, securing the area is essential. Four-sided fencing with self-closing, self-latching gates serves as your primary layer of protection. Add pool safety covers and alarm systems—to further prevent children and unauthorized adults from accessing the water unsupervised.

Implementing the "5 layers of protection" creates a redundant safety system, ensuring that if one layer fails, others are in place to prevent tragedy.
