Saving money is going to make you feel broke or poor while it is making you rich.

Setting boundaries is going to make you feel alone while it is building strong relationships

Working out is going to make you feel weak and sore while it is making you stronger

Facing traumas is going to make you feel broken and vulnerable while it is healing you.

Feeling lucky? Frontwave Toastmasters celebrated St. Patrick's Day a little early this past Friday.

Jennifer's planned speech was all about different communications style and how each one can gather different outcomes. Then Carrie lead a fun St. Patrick's themed Table Topics.

Friday Fun Recap:
In case you missed the meeting, our Infomercial theme created a ton of laughs and creativity! Jennifer had us each sell random products like we were our own late night Infomercial Star! Josue gave a hilarious speech on what to do if your co-worker eats your food, and Lili gave an insightful evaluation of Josue's speech! We welcomed back our guests Suren and Cherry! Overall another fun meeting in the books!

Next week our theme is Love, Love, Love! Just in time for Valentine's Day! Maybe Maria can show us how to make cookie boxes again!!! :)

Megan did an awesome job with our theme today of "Opposite day"! She layered on Opposite day fun: Wear your glasses upside down, turn your shirt or sweater backwards, walk to the podium backwards, introduce the speakers backwards and more!

Fun Fact Friday: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Entered College At the Age of 15.
King was such a gifted student that he skipped grades nine and 12 before enrolling in 1944 at Morehouse College, the alma mater of his father and maternal grandfather. Although he was the son, grandson and great-grandson of Baptist ministers, King did not intend to follow the family vocation until Morehouse president Benjamin E. Mays, a noted theologian, convinced him otherwise. King was ordained before graduating college with a degree in sociology.
