Mankind is always seeking love, acceptance, forgiveness, freedom to live life without condemnation, good relationships with guardrails, a chance to be redeemed when we mess up, a heaven, peace, joy, the meaning of life, significance and a purpose, a chance to better the world, a sense of belonging, provision and good things...a desire to feel their life matters.
Unfortunately we try to do this without God, but Jesus came to invite you into an eternal family and to experience God right here on earth with all of the things mentioned above that comes secondary when you seek God and find Him.
Even believers fail all the time to apply the power that Christ gifted us and empowered believers with....
Believers can totally forfeit or ignore or misapply out of laziness and unbelief and ignorance on what the Son of God purchased for us.
The Blood of God's Lamb: the Son of God has power. God"s Word has over 200 very specific prophecies written hundreds of years prior to describe the One and Only Savior Messiah...the very year and places he would be born and live and die and ride again were written way beforehand. His very death corresponded to the Passover Sacrificial Lamb day. His death corresponded to a blood moon eclipse and an earthquake that would destroy parts of the Temple and lead to the end of the practice of sacrificing lambs there at the Temple in Jerusalem. The Temple would be torn down not long after just as Jesus said would happen.
So the point is you can trust what the Old Scriptures from the prophets said about the Messiah. And the prophets writings are proven to be a collection which originated and we're inspired by God Himself. and the pivotal point in History was the Son of God's Blood shed on the Cross.
So God says He did this so you have a chance to be redeemed from the devil, cleansed from your unrighteousness continually as you confess and trust in the work of Christ on the Cross...God says Jesus took the wrsthbof God so you may be justified, as if you are not guilty of sin, even though you are guilty, yet proclaimed not guilty in the Courts of Heaven...
He did this so you could have the Son of God intercede and speak on your behalf as an advocate for those who believe and choose Christ as their LORD...who by the way cc rested all things from Heaven in the Beginning, with God the Father.
Jesus did this so we can have access to God the Father to pray and even know God personally.
If He did this for us, we should daily apply the power of this Blood into our walk, with appropriate discipline and gratefulness. Let it be more and more , even as this world is spiraling and asking for the date with destiny when the Lord's Judgment Day comes
