On behalf of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., State of Virginia, we are honored to invite you to join us for a special Virtual Kickoff Town Hall launching the 63rd Anniversary weekend commemorating the historic March on Washington.

This virtual kickoff is themed: “63 Years of Legacy: From the March to the Mission – A Conversation on Voting Rights, Voter Education, and Civic Engagement”

Date: Thursday, August 27, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: Virtual Town Hall

This will be more than a commemoration; it will be a conversation about legacy, responsibility, and the work that continues today.

As we reflect on the historic March on Washington and the founding legacy of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., we will bring that history into the present through a timely discussion on voting rights, voter education, and civic engagement. The evening will feature historical reflections, a distinguished panel discussion, audience Q&A, interactive engagement, and a call to continued action within our communities.

We are especially honored to bring together a powerful range of Iota’s brothers whose experiences and perspectives will help connect the legacy of the March on Washington to the civic and social landscape we face today:
