🎨Our 2026 Coastal Art Contest winners!

This year’s theme was “Hope for the Coast,” and our entrees sure showed up. The art contest is a great way for community members of all ages to get involved in the Cook-Off and the gallery in the barn is a fun activity for kids and adults to check out. We love seeing how coastal community members view and portray the coast! Thank you to our artists and judges! 🩵

Introducing our fifth and final Cook-Off judge, Trina Hudson of New Orleans East Green Infrastructure Collective! Trina grew up in the Lower Ninth Ward and returned in 2014, motivated by her hometown’s revival. She’s since implemented seven projects with 34 interventions, planted over 60 trees and managed over 30,000 gallons of storm water per event, enhancing community flood resilience. Her goal is to foster sustainable growth in NOLA East through community and government collaboration, creating a better quality of life for residents. We can’t wait to have her judge the Cook-Off!

🎨Our fourth Cook-Off judge is Jenna Callais Snyder, winner of our t-shirt and poster design contest!

Jenna was born and raised on Bayou Road in East St. Bernard Parish, one of the best commercial and sport fishing communities on the Gulf Coast. Growing up close to the coast shaped her appreciation for the people, traditions and cuisine of South Louisiana. She now works hands-on in Louisiana’s coastal space and is an avid bird enthusiast, spending much of her time observing the wildlife that depends on Louisiana’s healthy wetlands. She’ll be bringing her A-game on February 28th! Swipe to see Jenna’s design ➡️
