October was another incredible month at the Vinita Day Center, and we couldn’t do it without YOU!

📊 OCTOBER 2026 BY THE NUMBERS:

🍽️ 1,494 meals served!
❤️ 65 meals served per day on average
👥 46 guests per day on average
🚿 22 showers provided
🧺 15 loads of laundry completed

But these numbers represent so much more than meals, showers, and laundry. They represent friendships, compassion, helping hands, and a community that truly cares about its neighbors.

We don't want anybody sitting at home thinking this isn't for them. THIS IS FOR EVERYBODY!**

Check on your elderly neighbors. Invite that family who may be having a hard time. Bring someone who could use a hot meal, a friendly face, or simply a reason to get out of the house.

You never know what somebody is going through, and sometimes a plate of food and a little kindness can mean more than you'll ever know.

Our community is only as strong as the love we show one another. Let's get back to the days when neighbors looked out for neighbors, families gathered together, and nobody was made to feel like a stranger.

🎉🎉 WE MADE HISTORY TODAY AT THE VINITA DAY CENTER!!! 🎉🎉

❤️ 70 PEOPLE FOR LUNCH TODAY!!! ❤️

That’s right, SEVENTY!!! 🥳

Today, the Vinita Day Center reached an incredible milestone as we welcomed 70 people for lunch, setting a NEW ALL-TIME SINGLE-DAY ATTENDANCE RECORD! 🏆

And here’s what makes this accomplishment even more special…

⭐ No holiday celebration!
⭐ No special event!
⭐ No big community gathering!

JUST A REGULAR DAY AT THE VINITA DAY CENTER! ❤️

What an amazing testament to the importance of the Day Center and the difference it is making in our community!

The Vinita Day Center is so much more than a place to enjoy a hot meal. It’s a place for friendship, fellowship, compassion, and a sense of belonging. For many of our visitors, it’s one of the highlights of their day!

❤️🍝 A BIG THANK YOU TO THE LADIES FROM ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL! ❤️

What a wonderful day at the Vinita Day Center! 🥰

We were blessed today by a fantastic group of ladies from Saint Francis Hospital in Vinita who took time out of their day to deliver and serve a delicious lunch to our Day Center guests!

🧁 Muffins
❤️ Granola Bars

But they brought more than just a wonderful meal — they brought smiles, kindness, and the spirit of community! ❤️

It’s caring people like these ladies who remind us just how special our community truly is!

❤️ AUGUST WAS ANOTHER INCREDIBLE MONTH AT THE VINITA DAY CENTER! ❤️

Every number represents more than a statistic—it represents a meal served, a shower provided, clean clothes, a welcoming place, and a neighbor who knows our community cares.

During August 2026, the Vinita Day Center:

📅 Was open 21 days
👥 Welcomed an average of 44 people each day
🍽️ Served 1,434 meals — an average of 68 meals per day!
🚿 Provided 30 showers
🧺 Completed 22 loads of laundry
📈 Saw a 33% increase over August 2025!

Being able to serve and continue to provide our services with this rate of increased need is only possible because VINITA SHOWS UP! ❤️

To every individual, church, business, organization and community partner who donated food, supplies, money or time—and to our incredible volunteers and staff—THANK YOU!

Your generosity allows us to continue providing a safe, welcoming place where people can receive a hot meal, take a shower, wash their clothes and experience a little kindness along the way.

1,434 meals in one month. That’s 1,434 opportunities to serve someone in our community. ❤️

🌟 WOW… WHAT A MONTH! 🌟

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, the Vinita Day Center continues to grow and serve more of our neighbors than ever before!

❤️ July 2026 By the Numbers:
🍽️ 1,463 meals served
👥 44 people served each day on average
🚿 31 showers provided
🧺 20 loads of laundry completed
🥘 69 meals served every day

📈 That’s a 10% increase over June 2026 and an amazing 42% increase compared to July 2025!

Every meal, every shower, every load of laundry, every smile, and every helping hand is possible because of YOU—our volunteers, donors, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and faithful supporters.

When our neighbors need hope, a hot meal, a clean shower, or simply someone who cares, this community continues to answer the call.
