Austin Harkey discussed the details of State Question 832, which will be on the Oklahoma ballot in June 2026.
If approved, this proposed amendment would affect Oklahoma's wage
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Austin graduated with a degree in nonprofit and public administration from the University of Oklahoma in 2020. Upon graduation, he began his career working for the Catholic Conference of Oklahoma as the deputy director, helping with policy research and working on legislation in both chambers of the legislature. Austin is a strong advocate for helping families, protecting life at all stages, and a limited form of government. In his free time, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, Mica, his family, and his friends. He also enjoys playing golf whenever he gets a chance.

WOW! The Lions’ VHS Sr Boys’ BBQ was great! James Selby of C and L gave a fantastic message to the boys-including a $2 bill to each as a reminder of the day. Don Daniels smoked 4 kinds of meats for the delicious lunch. Each boy got 3-THREE- door prizes, from $5 gift cards to a $100 gift card! Thank you to all the local businesses, individuals and Lions who gave prizes and cash for the 2 events!!

It was a great event again! The Lions Club is so thankful to this community for their AWESOME support! These VHS SRs had an excellent speaker in Jacklyn Smittle, great food and at least 2 door prizes each. Thank you to all who supported and worked this fun day!
