Join Voce for our 2026-2027 season!
Hear luminous choral classics alongside contemporary works that reflect the diversity and beauty of our human family. Experience one-of-a-kind concerts including a poignant ode to democracy, an Argentinian Christmas cantata, and a choral-orchestral world premiere that share a story of immigrants exiled from their home country.

Voce is thrilled and honored to share that we have been invited to perform alongside Josh Groban and the National Symphony Orchestra for their upcoming concert on Saturday, August 22 at Wolf Trap! Come hear us sing back up to a voice of a generation with memorable tunes like "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" and "You'll Never Walk Alone." We hope to see you on this historic night for our ensemble. Lawn tickets are still available!

CHAMBER ORCH: Fl, Ob, Cl, Bsn, Hn (opt. B-Trb), Harp, Strings

COMPOSER NOTE: The idea of an "unknown region" (as Walt Whitman described it) or a place where an individual's identity or stream of consciousness continues to exist into an immortal realm has intrigued humans since cave drawings over 65,000 years ago. Today, supernatural beings (often portrayed as "medieval" angelic or demonic creatures) permeate film, literature, and theology. This work centers on the common denominator of contentment, innocence, and eternal peace. The intent is for each listener to "journey through" into their own vision about the existence of "paradise" - earthly or heavenly - and find deeper significance for daily living and hope.
