🎭 Sponsor Spotlight 🎭

The Vidor High School Pirate Players recently had the opportunity to visit Baptist Physician Network Vidor Family Practice and spend a little time with Gina Sarver VanDevender, PA-C. She was so kind and engaging with our students, and you could truly see her love for this community and the theater program.

For 36 years, Gina has cared for families across Southeast Texas as a Physician Assistant in family practice. For the past eight years she has proudly been part of Baptist Physician Network, and for the last 18 months she has been serving families right here in Vidor.

Family practice has always been close to her heart. From school physicals and wellness exams to helping patients manage chronic conditions, Gina and the team at Baptist Physician Network are dedicated to caring for families throughout Vidor, Orange County, and Southeast Texas with compassion and heart.

Gina has also given so much to our community through her service with Vidor ISD, including 10 years on the Board of Trustees and currently serving as Board President.

We are incredibly grateful for community leaders like Gina and Baptist Physician Network who believe in supporting local students and keeping the arts strong in Vidor.

Tech rehearsal days show the heartbeat of a production, and our Scarlet Letter crew absolutely delivered. 🎭

A huge shoutout to Stage Manager Zoe Geiger and Assistant Stage Manager AnaLiis Bertrand, who spent the day carefully setting cues and keeping the entire show organized and moving smoothly.

Lighting looked fantastic thanks to Rachel Morgan on stage lights and Dean Arrant running lighting specials. Sean Hibbs made sure every sound cue landed exactly where it needed to, and Alayna Rodriguez kept props organized and ready for every moment.

The best part was watching our crew and performers working together so seamlessly all day long. That kind of collaboration and focus is what great theatre is made of.

What an incredible team. Proud of these Pirate Players. 🎭🏴‍☠️

Sponsor Spotlight: NuLife Wellness & Weight Loss

It truly takes a village to support our Pirate Players, and we are so grateful for businesses like NuLife Wellness & Weight Loss who welcomed our kids with open arms.

When we visited their beautiful space in Beaumont, their team was incredibly kind and generous with their time. They gave us a full tour, answered questions, and even let the girls explore some of their equipment (although… we’re not totally convinced our students are ready to run the place just yet 😉).

NuLife Wellness is dedicated to caring for the whole person. They offer medically supervised weight loss, hormone optimization for men and women, skincare services, medical-grade facials, and advanced aesthetic treatments. The list goes on!

When asked what sets them apart, their answer was simple: “Service. We focus on taking care of people with kindness, expertise, and attention to every detail. And you'll see that reflected in our Google reviews-that's truly what sets us apart. Our growth has really taken off, and I genuinely think it's because people feel that difference.”

We are so thankful they chose to invest in our students and the arts this year. Community support like this makes such a difference.

If you’re in the Beaumont area and looking for wellness, hormone support, or aesthetic services, we encourage you to check them out annnnd tell them those cute Pirate Players kids sent you! 🏴‍☠️
