So today, since our auction ended last evening, we start the process of sorting, packing and delivery.
Why do we do the auction? Well, funds are one of the obvious reasons as it take THOUSANDS to do what we do. But my favorite reason is not funds. It’s the people!

👍It builds a community— a community of people who donate, shop, and enjoy each others company through the fellowship of the auction. Common goals- making life better for rescue dogs AND people, one auction at a time. Knowing how many wonderful friends we have made through the auction makes this a number one reason to continue! Thank you for being a part of our community!

I read something that was so true:
When you lose your sight, you lose touch with “things” but when you lose your hearing, you lose touch with people. I’m hearing impaired and I cannot tell you how true it is. You shy away from people and conversations because you can’t hear/understand them anyway. You sit surrounded by conversation but can’t be part of it… etc.
THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL DEAF DOG AT THE JASPER POUND THAT NEEDS TO FEEL A PART OF A FAMILY’S LIFE.
