Have you told your family what you want?
An advanced directive is one of the most loving things you can do - for yourself and for the people who care about you. It puts your wishes in writing so that if you're ever unable to speak for yourself, your voice is still heard.
It doesn't have to be complicated. It just has to be done.
Community Hospice is here to answer your questions and walk you through the process.

When severe weather is in the forecast, preparation can make all the difference. Stay weather-aware and take warnings seriously. ⛈️

🌩️ Have multiple ways to receive weather alerts
🌧️ Charge phones and medical devices ahead of time
🌪️ Keep flashlights, batteries, water, medications, and important supplies nearby
⚡ Know your safe place — an interior room on the lowest level, away from windows
🌩️ Bring pets inside and secure loose outdoor items
🌧️ Never drive through flooded roads
🌪️ Stay indoors when thunder roars, and avoid windows during storms
⚡ Check on elderly loved ones, neighbors, and anyone who may need extra assistance

At Community Hospice, the safety of our patients, families, and team members is always a priority. Stay safe, stay prepared, and take severe weather seriously. 💚

At Community Hospice, we are privileged to care for veterans and their families - and we hold their sacrifice with the deepest respect and gratitude.

To the families who carry on their legacy: thank you. We remember with you.
