Golden Crescent CASA Join us! Golden Crescent CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) are trained individuals that represent the best interest of an abused/neglect child in court.

Across the Golden Crescent, there are children caught in the chaos of the child welfare system. As a court appointed special advocate (CASA), you only need a willingness to stand up and say “I’ll be there” for one child. Training is ongoing.

Pumpkins for a Purpose!

On Monday, Golden Crescent CASA had the opportunity to give back to our community by volunteering at the pumpkin patch! Our team helped measure pumpkins in support of First United Methodist Church's church and community initiatives.

We love opportunities to serve alongside organizations making a difference in our community. Thank you, First United Methodist Church, for allowing us to be part of this meaningful tradition!

CASA Volunteers Can Change a Child’s Story.

For a child experiencing the effects of domestic violence, the world can feel uncertain and overwhelming. When that child also enters the foster care system, having a consistent, caring adult in their corner can make a meaningful difference.

CASA Volunteers are trained to understand how domestic violence can impact a child’s safety, well-being, relationships, and behavior. They get to know the child, listen to their needs, gather important information, and advocate for their best interests throughout the child welfare process.

Most importantly, a CASA Volunteer can provide something every child deserves: someone who consistently shows up.

Through informed advocacy and a steady presence, CASA Volunteers help ensure children impacted by domestic violence are seen, heard, supported, and represented in decisions about their future.

One volunteer. One consistent voice. A lasting impact.
