Last Friday we welcomed nearly 40 direct service professionals- those who serve right alongside nonprofit clients to directly guide them to agency services- to explain what our United Way of the Crossroads CHW team can do and how we can work alongside them.

We are so thankful for all of those who work in the nonprofit space to give help and build hope.

We hope to make this a regular thing!!

Over the last 3 days, groups of community volunteers from the United Way Board of Directors and companies who support the annual United Way campaign, met with 21 local nonprofits to interview them for the annual United Way of the Crossroads traditional grant process.

Prior to these in-person meetings, countless hours were spent reviewing the organization's grant applications and financial statements.
Many thanks to these volunteers for their dedication to hard conversations surrounding needs and services in our community.

We are grateful to Frost Bank for allowing us to use their lovely meeting space and Water Well Cafe for perfectly fulfilling our lunch orders each day!

Lastly, none of this would be possible without the individual donors who choose to support the annual United Way campaign through payroll deductions at their workplaces.

Stay tuned for finding announcements after July 1st!
