Madison-Oneida Amateur Radio Club W2MO

The Madison-Oneida Amateur Radio Club Inc. (MOARC) was founded in December of 1988, and is an American Radio Relay League (ARRL) affiliated Amateur Radio club.

It shall be our mission to promote emergency and public service communication, radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct club programs
and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community . Centered in Central New York, MOARC operates the W2MO/R repeater on 145.170 MHz VHF and W2MO/R 443.650 MHz PL (103.5). UHF The club callsign is W2MO. .

Were operating out of Oxbow Park in Canastota for 2019 Field Day if you want to stop by and say hello. We’ll be here until about 6pm today.

CQ..CQ... Why be QRT when you can QSO with all of us at W2MO. Don't worry about QSB or QRM because we are all friends and signals will be 5-9 all the way.

Join us at the MOARC 30th Anniversary Sunday September 16th at noon at the Madison Oneida Boces.and do a little ground wave communication with us the old fashioned way.

Its ARRL Field Day time again! We'll be up at Oxbow Park in Canastota for setup around 9/10am this morning. Stop on by and check it out or make a contact or two!

Stop out and see us today at the VVS Community Day at VVS High School from 10am-3pm. We'll have a live radio setup and be doing demonstrations while promoting the use of hobby for public service during events and natural disasters. The whole school is filled with bake sales, craft shows, fire demonstrations, flu shots, a bloodmobile and more!

Tonight is our final meeting for 2015! Come join us in the library at Madison-Oneida BOCES on Spring Road in Verona at 7:30pm. We'll be closing out nominations for our 2016 officers and taking the last of our Ham Of The Year award nominations. You can email your HOTY nomination to Dick Rogers KB2GGP at [email protected] or fill out a paper ballot at the meeting. We hope to see you there!

📌Just reminder that our November meeting will be taking place TOMORROW, November 18 at 7:30pm in the library at Madison-Oneida BOCES on Spring Road in Verona. We had to move the meeting forward one
week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Please keep in mind that we're opening up the floor for nominations election of Officers for 2016 and 2015 Ham Of The Year.

The next regular MOARC meeting will be Wednesday November 18th 7:30pm at Madison-Oneida BOCES. Please use Entrance T1. All are welcome.

(MOARC normally meets the last Wednesday of the month, due to the Thanksgiving holiday the November meeting was moved to the 18th)
