Our rescue partner down South is heading our way on June 27 and we're hopeful to fill a van with dogs ready to start a new life.

Can you help by fostering?

MPM does not have a facility so all dogs must have a secured foster home before cashing in their golden ticket.

The MPM foster program includes

Meet Tansy!

Tansy is a 5-month-old mixed breed pup with the sweetest face, soulful eyes, and a tongue that’s almost always hanging out in pure puppy happiness. At around 25 lbs, she’s growing into the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy.

This happy girl is full of personality — friendly, energetic, and always ready to play. Tansy loves meeting new people and brings a fun, goofy energy wherever she goes. Like any puppy her age, she’s currently deep in her “baby shark” teething phase, so chew toys are definitely a must!

Tansy is also working hard on potty training and learning all the important puppy basics. She’ll thrive with a family ready to continue her training, keep her active, and help her grow into a well-mannered companion.

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup with lots of love (and puppy kisses) to give, Tansy may be your perfect match.

Luna and Jack have officially arrived in their foster's homes and are settling into the next chapter of their journey. 💛

While Jack is ready to begin searching for his FURever family, Luna is taking a little time to focus on healing and getting the medical care she needs. She's currently on medical hold, but we're making sure she gets all the love and support she deserves. 🩺✨

Their days of uncertainty are behind them, and brighter futures are ahead. Whether it's finding a forever home or recovering in a loving foster home, these two are exactly where they need to be.

Meet Luna!

This stunning beauty has been in rescue almost 2 years. 😭😭.

Luna is a 4-year-old Staffy mix who weighs about 60 lbs—and every ounce of her is pure love. She’s the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be showered with affection. Beyond that, she’s calm, steady, and wise beyond her years.

Luna is house trained, crate trained (though she doesn’t need one), and gets along well with her dog friends. When meeting new people, she likes a few minutes to sniff and size things up—her foster mom jokes that she needs those same few minutes with strangers too! But once Luna knows you? She melts right into your lap.

Luna’s ideal family would be one who:
• Loves snuggle time
• Enjoys Netflix & popcorn nights
• Appreciates the great outdoors
• Has no children
• Has a comfy couch to plop on
• Lives with a go-with-the-flow vibe

Elm🥰🥰

This handsome boy is perfection!! He is a 4 month 24 pound Boxer mix. His demeanor and temperament are amazing!! He loves everyone he's ever met!! He will shower you with love, kisses, cuddles and laughs. He is doing amazing with potty training and sleeps through the night in his kennel. We're hoping to break these adorable pups out of the shelter and welcome them into MPM. BUT WE NEED FOSTER HOMES FIRST!

Rock is a 5 year old brindle cutie who weighs 47 lbs. He's known a home before but was left behind when his previous owner moved. He's dog friendly.

Bella (white and brindle) and Nala (blue and white) are both estimated to be 8 years old and are medium sized girls at 56 and 53 lbs. They've done great with other dogs and children. However Nala cannot live with cats. These girls too once had a home but were surrendered to the shelter when their family had a new baby.

Meet Chief!

At 2 years old and 72 pounds, Chief is a handsome brindle boy with floppy ears, loads of enthusiasm, and the goofiest, heart-melting smile. He’s the total package—equal parts athlete, cuddle bug, and goober.

Chief would thrive in a quieter home outside the hustle and bustle of city life. As a Pit Bull and Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, he feels things deeply and can get overstimulated by the constant commotion of busy neighborhoods. He’s looking for a breed-savvy family who understands his houndy heart and can help him navigate the world with confidence. A large, physically fenced yard is a must so he can safely stretch his legs and enjoy his zoomies.

He adores his dog friends, loves running in the yard, and is always happy to settle down with a good bone to chew. Chief is also incredibly smart and eager to learn. With continued training, structure, and consistency, he’ll truly shine. He’s ready to put in the work with a committed family who’s excited to help him become the very best boy he can be.
