What a wonderful first day of our quilt show! Early this morning our mayor in Venice, Nick Pachota, announced by proclamation that March is National Quilting Month. And then the day got even better with so many visitors…admirers of quilts, shoppers at the amazing boutique, lunch in the café, the silent auction with winners called, and lots of people checking out the beautiful raffle baskets and putting in their tickets. Add onto that the vendors selling sewing wares from fabric to patterns and notions, , and it definitely was an amazing day! Join us tomorrow for the second day! See you at the Venice Community Center. 🎉🎉🎉 This only happens every two years, so don’t miss it! Open from 9:00 to 4:00 Sunday, March 15.
