The 818 Benefit: Brody Stevens Festival of Friendship Show is 8/18 at 8pm at the Comedy Store!

ENJOY IT! The comedy community mourned the loss of the larger than life Brody Stevens in 2019, and friends of Brody’s started the 818 Walk in honor of his memory for his fans and friends. The tribute is still going strong, celebrating Brody, as well as raising awareness for su***de prevention and mental health services from Comedy Gives Back. BELIEVE!

Performers include Jay Mohr, Ben Gleib, Cameron Esposito, Eleanor Kerrigan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Dan Levy, Byron Bowers and Dean Delray.

We’re proud to announce our sponsorship of the Health Alliance for Chicago Comedians (HACC) — a new organization dedicated to helping working comedians in Chicago access affordable healthcare. ❤️🎤

Chicago has launched some of comedy’s biggest names, including John Mulaney, Kumail Nanjiani, and Josh Johnson— and HACC is working to ensure the next generation of comics can continue creating without losing access to healthcare.

Founded by Elizabeth Grossman and Chicago comic Nick Mayer, HACC will provide financial support for comedians purchasing insurance through the Illinois ACA Exchange.

As Comedy Gives Back continues our mission to support comedians nationwide, we’re excited to partner with HACC and help expand resources for comics where they need them most.
