Kiski Valley Food Bank is committed to those who don't have enough nutritional food for three complete meals a day.

As an all-volunteer, independent food bank, we work with our community to distribute food monthly to families in the Kiski Valley region. Kiski Valley Food Bank is made up of neighbors helping neighbors-neighbors who need your help. The most likely to need food assistance are children, working families, the elderly, the retired, and the disabled. Since 2008, we have distributed thousands of pounds

of food that you donated, to families in the Kiski Valley, just northeast of Pittsburgh. You can help by donating food or donating your time as a volunteer, or even conducting a food drive. Call us at 724-610-2037 to see how you can help!

General information

The Kiski Valley Food Bank, based in Vandergrift, serves the Kiski Valley region just 30 minutes northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, covering portions of Westmoreland, Armstrong and Indiana Counties. These communities include the Boroughs of Apollo, Avonmore, East Vandergrift, Hyde Park, Leechburg, North Apollo, Oklahoma, Vandergrift, and, West Leechburg; and, the Townships of Allegheny, Bell, Gilpin, Kiskiminetas, Parks, Upper Burrell (partial), and, Washington. These also include communities within Townships, such as Bagdad, Bell Point, Brownstown, Dime, Edmon, Forks Church, Garvers Ferry, Gosser Hill, Kepple Hill, Kiskimere, Mamont, Maysville, Metcalf, McKean, North Washington, North Vandergrift, Orchard Hills, Perryville, Poke Run, Riverview, Salina, Schenley, Shady Plain, Spring Church, Tinsmill, Truxall, and others. Kiski Valley Food Bank receives monetary contributions and recovers food from farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and individuals. It then distributes that food to local families and individuals in and around the Kiski Valley region of southwest Pensylvania.
