Today Doc confirmed our suspicions... They have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH).. I have created an Amazon wish list (attached below) which will help is help them develop the best we can! We are taking monetary donations to make them feeding stations (I am NOT paying $100+ for them on Amazon) Anything you can spare to help us help them is greatly appreciated! (Yes I know the wooden toys are expensive, but this will ensure their safety as they are heavy so not easily knocked over)
A little more on CH... CH is a non-progressive neurological condition where the cerebellum is underdeveloped, leading to balance and coordination difficulties.
Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), also known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome or Spastic Cat Syndrome, is a developmental disorder in which the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for fine motor control, balance, and coordination, fails to develop properly
This condition is not painful, contagious, or progressive, meaning it does not worsen over time. Please don't feel "sorry" for them as they live a "Normal to them" life! They are loving and playful and do everything a "normal kitten" does just a different normal! My grand-cat Bobber who was Dobby when with us is living his best life! He is mischievous, and loving, and energetic and we would not trade him for anything in this world!
Causes
The most common cause of CH in cats is feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) infection in a pregnant cat, which can damage the developing cerebellum of unborn kittens
