What a nice article in today's Dayton Daily News We love that it highlights Sarah, our 500th wish recipient. Please keep her in your thoughts as her cancer has recently metasticized and she is recovering from brain surgery.

The Breast Wishes Foundation aims to make the journey easier. A $1,500 wish is granted to support each man or woman who is living with breast cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re inviting local businesses, organizations and groups to have a little fun while helping Breast Wishes grant more wishes!

There are SO many ways to get involved:

💗 Have your compay sponsor a table at Black Jack for Breast Wishes to bring employees, clients or your favorite casino crew
🍪 Order Pink Ribbon Cookies through our Laura’s Cookies fundraiser for your team, clients or customers (or just yourself!)
🍹Join our Drink Pink campaign by asking your favorite bar, restaurant or café to Pour Pink for Breast Wishes
💗 Organize a 5k, yoga class, bingo game, spa day fundraiser or even a trivia night.

💗 Camilla’s wish came true!

Camilla first learned about Breast Wishes during her breast cancer surgery when Dr. Diane Anderson, our Board Chair, told her we would love to grant a wish for her.

For more than two years, water damage had made the flooring in Camilla’s Florida room unusable. Her wish was simple: new flooring and installation so she could enjoy the space again.

Thanks to the generous support of the Tipp City Foundation we were able to make it happen! ✨

Thank you, Tipp City Foundation for helping us bring JOY back into Camilla’s home and making wishes like hers possible. 💕

The Vandalia Fire Department is turning pink for Breast Wishes! 💗🚒

We’re excited to have the Vandalia Fire Department supporting Breast Wishes Foundation again this year! They’ve been wonderful supporters of our mission for several years, and we love seeing this fundraiser return.

Egeline is a Haitian immigrant living in Springfield and going through chemotherapy treatments.

Imagine living so far from home and the ones you love and trying to battle breast cancer.

We were able to grant Egeline’s wish for help with food and clothing through gift cards to Kroger and Marshall’s.

Want an easy way to support this weekend? Head to Kettering Fairmont High School for their Spirit Chain Color Run/Walk on Saturday. It's a quick google form to register and your $10 entry fee will be collected via cash or venmo at the event. Come say hi to us at the Breast Wishes tent! All proceeds go to the 2026 Spirit Chain charities.

🎉😻 It’s our mascot JOY’s birthday today! We don’t have a big party planned for her like last year but I might buy her (me) a cupcake to celebrate. 🧁

So happy for all the joy she’s brought us this past year and all the joy we’ve been able to give to others as we grant their wishes. 🪄🧞🌟
