Vandalia Friends and Family,
Thank you for your generous hearts ... It's time to continue our annual Giving Tree tradition and make blessings happen again for 3 families in our community this season Please share with your family and friends in the area
With the holidays quickly approaching I wanted to invite you to open your heart to the idea of donating to families in need. This event is the Giving Tree. At your desired interest, I would like to ask you to help take part in helping spread the Holiday Cheer to our families here in the community. These families have children in multiple district buildings. They are not expecting anything, but we know this would mean the world to them. The families have both been through several unexpected life events, and don’t have all the necessary items for day to day, let alone to celebrate Christmas like most of us do. We can help!
Collection Timeline:
1 Thursday, November 24 - Sunday, December 11: Pick 1, 2, 3, 4 or more items from the tree Whatever you can OR go in with someone! Comment below item: "Christmas Cheer" with your name and list the item to know the item has been taken off the tree
2 Starting, Thursday, December 1st - Monday, December 12 turn in item(s) you purchased to Stephanie Emrick, Jen McGowan, and/or Chrita Miller. You can drop it off at any one of our houses (just private message us on Facebook for our home addresses and/or text so we can coordinate times) OR Jen can come pick it up ... let me know what is easiest on you
**NOTE: Please wrap the gifts! If it is a gift item, please wrap and put a tag on the package. Please label by putting Family A, B, C and grade level or Mom, Aunt, etc. Thanks
3. Delivery will be made during school hours sometime beginning Wednesday, December 14 through Friday, December 16th (December 16th is the last day before Winter Break for VBCSD)

Mission: To bless those in our community and spread Christmas Kindness from our hearts to theirs.
We have the opportunity to bless families with 3-6 months of supplies to help so they can take a breath and figure out their path without worrying about all those items that cost so much.
