From $6K raised to shifts that need YOU! πŸ™Œβž‘οΈπŸš¨
Last week's WHO Benefit Concert was AMAZINGβ€”we raised just $5 short of $6,000!
But here's what we need now: volunteers for the final stretch of Season 23.
We're serving 45 individuals each night, and I receive daily calls from families with young children seeking shelter. The need is real, and we have critical coverage gaps:
🚨 URGENT SHIFTS:
Tonight: Evening & overnight
Saturday 1/31: NO overnight volunteer
Feb 1-3: Nearly every opportunity is open
Feb 8-14: Multiple gaps

Can you give 3-6 hours? Sign up: https://www.salcvan.org/whovolunteer

URGENT: Cold Weather Emergency - Volunteers Needed Now
With temperatures dropping, we're sheltering 44 guests at the WHOβ€”and welcoming 6 more tonight to get them out of the dangerous cold.

We need YOU to help us stay open this New Year's weekend:
❄️ Tonight (Dec 30): 6-9:30 pm - 2 volunteers
πŸŽ‰ New Year's Eve: 2 meal teams + 3 volunteers (6-9:30 pm)
🎊 New Year's Day: 8 volunteers throughout the day to keep doors open
πŸŒ™ Jan 2: Overnight shifts available

We want to stay open on New Year's Day, but we need volunteers to make it happen. Give the gift of warmth and rest to neighbors who have no other place to go.

Every volunteer hour matters. Can you give just one shift?
