Being a Room Parent is a fun way to stay connected with your child’s classroom, help support their teacher, and create special memories throughout the school year! You don’t have to do it all—just a willingness to help, communicate, and pitch in when you can.

YOU helped make this happen!!!

We are SO excited to share how your support of PTO during the 2025–2026 school year made a difference for our students!

Thanks to the money raised through our fundraisers, the generosity of the Van ISD Education Foundation, and the incredible support from our school families, we were able to fund a brand-new bike path for our Pre-K–1st grade recess area! 🎉

This new space means more opportunities for our littlest learners to play, ride, explore, get active, and make memories while at school.

This is what PTO is all about—coming together to give our kids experiences and spaces that make their school days even better! ❤️

Thank you for helping us turn fundraising into something our kids can enjoy every single day!

❤️✨ Our first PTO meeting of the year was a SUCCESS! ✨❤️

We had a great turnout, lots of wonderful ideas, and some exciting things already in the works! We are so thankful for everyone who took the time to come out and help us kick off another great year.

For those who weren’t able to make it, we’ve included our meeting minutes below so you can see what we discussed and what’s coming up!

And trust us… there are going to be SO many amazing opportunities to pitch in and help throughout the year! Whether you have a little or a lot of time, there will be ways for everyone to contribute to our success.

You don’t have to be a PTO member to get involved, either! We would love to have as many of our JER families as possible join us in making this an incredible year for our students and staff.

Thank you for supporting JER PTO—we can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
